A global multi-strategy hedge fund has an opening within the proprietary systems development team for a skilled .NET developer. The role is technically challenging and covers the full software development lifecycle and systems spanning every aspect of the business. As the sole developer in the London office, the role will have high user visibility, and a corresponding opportunity to impact the business.

Successful candidates will have 5+ years of experience with a core understanding of fundamental computer science, and a deep low level knowledge of C#, SQL Server and the .NET framework. An excellent grasp of multi-threaded, real time, distributed systems is required.

Familiarity with risk and portfolio management, order management, and a broad range of asset classes is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have business, preferably front office, facing experience, and a demonstrated ability to work under time pressure.
